The Londoners fear a transport mess could take place during
the Olympics in the city. Critics say London may fail to handle the expected
visitor onslaught despite the efforts being put by the government in the
preparation of any such circumstances.
In a pre-Olympic rehearsal on Tuesday by the Network Rail in
the city, several commuters faced confusion of re-routing along with
frustration, including similar reviews on social media.
A commuter tweeted on Twitter today that if the real things
happen during Olympics what did take place in the testing day, then he would
better be working from home for two weeks.
Though the London Olympic is to start from July 27, but
there are full swing of complaints all around the city about transportation.
People have also criticized the Heathrow airport recently
for long waits at the understaffed passport control desks. A passenger tweeted
on social media, “I just had a kafkaesque 75
minutes in terminal 5 at heathrow.”
