Wickedleak today launched its first built-in 3G tablet for
the Indian market. Dubbed Wammy Ethos, the tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich (ICS) operating system and offers HSPA+ 3G network connectivity
supporting 7.2mbps upload–download and 5.76mpbs download-upload speeds.
Wickedleak has priced tagged Wammy Ethos at Rs 8999 and at
this price it is the cheapest built-in 3G tablet in the Indian market.
The Wammy Ethos looks dominant with 7-inch screen which is
to render 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The tablet is just 450 grams and perfect
for portability. Powered by 1.2GHz processor and operates on 512MB of RAM, the
tablet also offers 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via
microSD card.
According to some of the best Android blog on the Web, Wammy
Ethos supports hosts of Navigation apps like that of Google Maps and Google
Locals. Bluetooth and tethering features are also added in the tablet.
Wammy Ethos is equipped with 3500mAh battery to offer long
time work before plugging it to recharge. The tablet also enables phone calling
and sending SMS.
