Apple has come up with its iTunes Stores in 12 Asian countries, but major economies are omitted such as India, China and Indonesia. The countries to enjoy purchasing movies and music from iTunes Stores include Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
The Apple fans in India, China and Indonesia are triggered with disappointment. The three countries are among the highest mobile user nations across the world.

The reasons why Apple has chosen not to open its iTunes stores in these countries are not yet known but it is learned that these countries are included in the 'priority watch list' of US related to review of intellectual property rights protection and enforcement. Also, experts say there are very low penetration of personal computers and credit cards in Indonesia. Illegal downloads is a major problem in the country.
