Company creates a whole new way to find amazing talent..
JOBS NEWS - Sourcebits is throwing all the rules out the window and hosting a competition where the winners will walk away with full time jobs in their new San Francisco office. The process will include opportunities for applicants to submit their best work for consideration, as well as a voting period where the public will help choose the winners. In a time when jobs are hard to come by and applicants find themselves discouraged by a lack of communication from companies, Sourcebits is offering a glimmer of hope for anyone with the dream of something better. The company is hiring two software designers, two software engineers and one QA/project lead to fill roles in our brand new San Francisco office. With that in mind, the company is issuing an open call to anyone who thinks they have what it takes, and they are inviting applicants to show up their absolute best work.
Five finalists will be chosen in each category, and those five will be invited to submit their full portfolio, as well as a short video explaining why they're the best fit for the job. The finalists will then be voted on by the community at large, and the new hires will be announced at a special party at Sourcebits HQ in January.
