LONDON NEWS/ MISS WORLD NEWS - Miss Venezuela is now Miss World 2011. Ivian Lunason Sarcos Comenares wanted to become nun. She spend 5 years of her life studying in a nunnery.

At Earls Court Two in London, human resources graduate Ivian Venezuela, was crowned Miss World 2011 on Sunday. The 21-year-old has an ambition to work with children.

Ivian Sarcos presently works for a broadcasting company, but at this age she has created her own foundation to help children. Her hobbies are trekking, mountaineering and volleyball.

There were 113 contestants in this year's glittering beauty pageant contest. The top seven were from Korea, Venezuela, England, Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa and Scotland. The runner-up is Miss Philippines Gwendoline Ruais and the third in the pageant is Miss Puerto Rico Amanda Perez.

Miss World 2011 was televised live to 150 countries and it reached to more than one billion estimated viewers. Miss World 2012 will be held at Ordos in Inner Mongolia, China.

Ivian Sarcos said after grabbing the award, "I would like to help people like me. I am an orphan. I would also like to help the elderly and troubled teenagers. As many people as I can."
