The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 was released worldwide on July 15, a mega cultural event across the world. The film made $24 million in its opening night, one of the biggest box office hits of the century. This was the last film in the series of the seven (or perhaps eight) movies that told the tale of the young boy wizard, Harry Potter, and his journey through the seven years of his life during which he evolves from an ordinary boy to a leader, to take on the elemental evil, the dark Lord Voldemort. The final epic battle between Harry and Voldemort, gave new meanings to the animating capabilities of the Warner Bros. production houses, creating a whole new magical world in front of your eyes.
The second part of the seventh movie of the epic series Harry Potter, begins where the last movie had left it - four more horcruxes are left to be destroyed and the dark Lord has gained control over the Elder wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows needed to defeat death, and the Hogwarts is now under the control of Snape. Now, our heroical trio is left on their own and they have to fight out not only to protect the whole of the magical world but also to protect themselves.
This movie shows the heroical quality of Professor Snape and shows why he killed Dumbledore and why Professor Dumbledore trusted Snape with his life and also with Harry's life.
Overall, we can say that the movie is a fitting end to the decade long adventure of the Harry Potter. Just as said by many fans, this is not just the end of a series, it’s the end of a whole era.
