CHINA NEWS - China is now experiencing a new wave of unrest, which is popularly called as 'jasmine revolution'. And to defuse the newly germinating revolt, Chinese official in charge of the state security has warned to find ways to fight against it.
Zhou Yongkang urged Chinese security officials to work on “social management” and improve social relations. He said that it would be better to find social conflicts and problem at the first place.
He was addressing a weekend seminar that instigated a “jasmine revolution” in China, spreading through internet campaign. Earlier, the state police had dissolved a meeting who were enthusiastic about the revolution and answered it.
The revolution is already taking shape of a big turmoil for Chinese government. In Shanghai three men were arrested who led by human rights activists and lawyers. All of them were arrested before the protests due to begin.
Mr. Zhou is the head of nine-man ruling politburo that is responsible for law and order of the state. He told officials to build a database with basic information about Chinese people.
