The time for campaigning is over and now its time to see who will get the better of the American voters this Tuesday. The world’s most dramatic and the most costly political race to what is arguably the most powerful political office in the world has now entered its final stages, with the American Presidential election beginning Tuesday at midnight.
In the final stages of campaigning and opinion polls, it was reported that the Presidential candidate Mitt Romney and the serving President Obama were almost in a neck to neck competition but President Obama was leading in some states that are considered the essential political battlegrounds in the US. Even the opinion poll results are not very positive for either Romney or Obama – at the state level they are almost tying at equal – Obama at 48% while Romney at 47%, with a margin of error. Out of 583 electoral colleges a candidate requires 270 electoral colleges to win the race to the White House. Obama has 204 colleges in his favor while Romney has 190 colleges to him, according to the opinion poll conducted by RealClearPolitics.com in the States.

The question now is who will win the keys to the most powerful political office in the world. Ahead of the elections, nations dependent on America are watching the political drama unfold in America with intent, because the person elected will not only rule the White House for the next four years but will also be, in a sort of way, the leader of the world.

Obama vs Romney: One Day Left To Get The Most Powerful Person On Earth
-------------------------------------------
30 million people in America have already cast their votes by early balloting. The voter turnout at the 2008 poll was 130 million.
The effect of the Hurricane Sandy will be felt on the elections no doubt, but that effect will be restricted to the east coast which was mostly affected by the hurricane. The rest of America will still be voting for health-care, jobs and a better economy.
