India says it has hanged the lone alive gunman of 26/11 Mumbai attack Ajmal Kasab, Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist, today morning at 7:30 India time. He was hanged at Pune's Yerwada Jail and buried there too. He was shifted from Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail earlier.

On November 26, 2008, ten terrorists of Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) attacked Mumbai, financial capital of India. Nine gunmen were killed during the 60-hour siege.

LeT - Ajmal Kasab a hero, hanging will inspire more attacks.

Muslim groups - Ajmal Kasab should have been hanged long time ago.

Human Rights - End capital punishment.

Manish Tewari (Union Minister) - Kasab's hanging appropriate. It was done after every level of judiciary examined it.

Ihsanullah Ihsan (Taliban spokesman) - There is no doubt that it's very shocking news and a big loss that a Muslim has been hanged on Indian soil.
