AUSTRALIA - ABC presenter and radio personality Andy Muirhead faces a Hobart court on a child pornography charge.
Muirhead, 34-year-old, was charged in June by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for using carriage service for child pornography material.
AFP charged Muirhead after searching her home and seizing computer equipment.
Immediately after the charges, the host took unpaid leave from ABC1 television show Collectors and from her hosting role on ABC Hobart.
On Monday, Muirhead appeared in Magistrates Court, but her lawyer, however, did not enter a plea.
The hearing is adjourned until August 30 and it is expected Muirhead will enter a plea then.
